From the Blue Bag started  April 1,2006 the beginning was simple selling at local Farmers markets and small art shows. The sales were beyond expectations ,
then larger shows started contacting us.
So what started as a hobby was evolving into a business?

The goal of From the Blue Bag was to start a business that focused on using art to creatively convey the importance of recycling to everyone while helping to reduce our landfills.

Our company is two fold. The first area of business is our recycling program. We obtain our materials by engaging local bars and restaurants to join in our bottle-recycling program.
From the Blue Bag provides a collection receptacle and comes to empty it once a week.
We also encourage these companies to recycle their stryofoam peanuts and bubble wrap,
both of which do not biodegrade in a landfill.

The second phase of the company is to take the recycled bottles and make gifts from them.
Our gifts are not just eco-friendly; they are also Food Functional
meaning most of our dishware is oven, freezer and dishwasher safe.

The gift industry is constantly looking for new and innovative gifts.
The green movement is spreading so rapidly some couples have even planned their weddings with completely environmentally aware products and services.
From the Blue Bag filled this gift niche by investing in equipment that can laser etch a wedding invitation right onto a champage or Wine bottle.
We can also personalize any of our other products.
